Pirna’s bicycle garage – Bike & Ride
If you want somewhere to park your bicycle, e-bike or pedelec, look no further than Pirna’s bicycle garage. Cyclists will find 16 separate parking spaces here. The two-tier, container-based bicycle parking system is located between the central bus station and Pirna railway station.
The bicycle garage is stable, robust and protects bikes from the wind and the elements. It’s the ideal option for anyone who wants to switch to or from public transport.
Book your parking space easily via an electronic access and booking system with card payment terminal and touchscreen at the bicycle garage.
A track system enables the upper level to be reached easily without major effort – even for e-bikes. Each parking space is also equipped with interior lighting for good visibility, even in the evening and at night. The parking spaces on the lower level offer charging facilities for pedelecs and e-bikes. The boxes also provide space for additional equipment such as helmets and bags.
How it works
Secure bicycle parking in three easy steps:
- Select “Einstellen” (engage) or “Auslösen” (release) on the terminal at the bicycle garage.
Select a box on the top or bottom level depending on the type and size of bike (see size information on the box). - Insert an EC card or credit card for verification.
- Take the bike to the box indicated and put it in or take it out as described. Close the door. Done!
The display guides you through the parking process – please check the screen. Remember to close the door again after use.
Charges
To use the bicycle garage, the following charges apply:

The charge is paid conveniently and cashlessly by EC card or credit card on the control panel straight after use.
