Burning vegetable waste
Private vegetable waste should be composted or recycled on the user's own property. If the producers or owners of the waste are not able or do not intend to do so, they must hand over the waste to the disposal company.
Burning vegetable waste does not fall within the scope of exceptions under police regulations and therefore cannot be approved as a bonfire. Burning open fires in fixed fire bowls (for the disposal of vegetable waste) is also generally prohibited. In most cases, combustion leads to heavy smoke emissions and thus to a considerable nuisance for the immediate neighbourhood.
If violations are detected by the municipal enforcement service or the police enforcement service, any intentional or negligent act in violation of the applicable regulations will be reported to the District Office Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains.
